Pretty Jordan Riki is one of the most talked about rookies in the NRL with only 5 games to his name. He left a huge impression in the All-stars (scoring a 50) and also did well in the weekend trial against the Cowboys with 34 fantasy points in the first half until he was rested.
What stands out is actually his defensive work rate. To end 2020 he scored two significant scores.
Rd 17 against Penrith he scored 56 (34 tackles) and Rd 20 against Cowboys he scored 50 (41 tackles) which is some handy base stats particularly as he is getting wraps for his offensive fire power close to the try line.
One concern is discipline. He got a two game suspension after that round 17 game so he will have to rein that in. Broncos assistant coach Terry Matterson did reveal he is very raw so there could be some week’s that he struggles particularly in that first year full year of first grade.
At a breakeven of 26, if he secures the starting right edge role, Riki will make you money. He won’t be POD if that’s what you’re thinking because already 32% of coaches have him in their team.
Kid can play, kid is pretty and you won’t be disappointed. Lock him in Jordan Riki.
